デファクトスタンダード
でふぁくとすたんだーど · De facto standard
A standard that has not been formally established by an official standards body, but has emerged as a practical industry standard because a particular company's or group's specification or product became widely adopted in the market. It stands in contrast to de jure standards set by bodies such as ISO or JIS. Familiar examples include dominant operating systems and widely used file formats that became standard through market competition.
