フェールセーフ
ふぇーるせーふ · Fail-safe
A design principle ensuring that when a system or device fails or is operated incorrectly, it transitions to and remains in a safe state. A classic example is a traffic signal defaulting to red upon failure. The goal is to minimize harm or damage when a fault occurs.
