Project Team Organization refers to the process of selecting and arranging the members needed to carry out a project, establishing working structures and roles. Teams may be co-located (all members gathered at one site) or distributed (members collaborate remotely via web conferencing and messaging tools). The distributed model offers the advantage of including specialists regardless of their location, including those on overseas assignments or with caregiving responsibilities.
