Short for Service Level Management. An ITIL process concerned with monitoring service delivery and conducting regular reviews to maintain and improve quality in line with the targets agreed in a Service Level Agreement (SLA). Its primary purpose is to ensure that the commitments made to customers are consistently fulfilled.
