An authentication method in which the user memorizes a set of positions and a sequence within a grid, then each time they authenticate they read off and enter the values currently displayed at those positions. Because a new random grid is generated for every session, the actual characters entered differ each time, making intercepted credentials useless for future logins and providing effective protection against replay attacks.
