PKI
ぴーけーあい · PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
Also known as: 公開鍵基盤
English: Public Key Infrastructure
PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) is a framework for securely deploying public-key cryptography, in which a Certificate Authority (CA) issues digital certificates that vouch for the authenticity of public keys. A digital certificate is a trusted third-party attestation that a given public key belongs to its claimed owner and serves as the cornerstone of PKI. It underpins core internet security mechanisms such as TLS encrypted communications and digital signatures.
