Can You Pass in One Month?

Passing in one month is entirely possible if you secure 2–3 hours per day for 30 days, totaling 60–90 hours of study time. For a short-term pass, concentration is key—set fixed time blocks rather than studying aimlessly. Since the preparation period is short, prioritize output by focusing on past exam questions.

4-Week Schedule

WeekPhaseStudy Content
Week 1InputRead through reference book once (don't dwell on details)
Week 2Basic PracticePast exam questions by field, identify weak areas
Week 3Weakness ReinforcementInput on weak areas + past exam questions
Week 4Final Polish3 mock exam sets + review

Week 1: Input

In Week 1, skim through the reference book once—no deep dives allowed. Solve the check questions at the end of each chapter while spending 2–3 hours per day to grasp the overall picture.

Week 2: Field-Based Practice

In Week 2, practice by field using past exam question sites. Study according to the ratio of 35 Strategy questions, 20 Management questions, and 45 Technology questions, aiming for a 60% correct answer rate. Carry over fields with low correct rates to the following week for reinforcement. For key fields, refer to the Strategy Summary, Management Summary, and Technology Summary on this site.

Week 3: Weakness Reinforcement

In Week 3, focus on input for the fields where your correct answer rate was low in Week 2. Resolve vague concepts one by one through term explanations. For example, if security is weak, solidify your knowledge with articles like Types of Cyber Attacks Summary, Encryption Basics, and Difference Between Authentication and Authorization.

Week 4: Mock Exam Final Polish

In Week 4, complete 3 sets of mock exams. Use the Mock Exam to experience the real format of 120 minutes and 100 questions, getting a feel for time management. It's important to review any mistakes on the same day. Go to bed early the night before the exam to get in good shape.

Example Daily Schedule (Working Professional Version)

Here's a recommended daily schedule for working professionals. Spend 30 minutes during your morning commute solving 10 questions on a past exam app on your phone, and use your 30-minute lunch break to read the reference book or review. In the evening, secure 90 minutes for past exam practice and weak-point review.

Example Daily Schedule (Student Version)

Here's a sample schedule for students. It's efficient to spend 60 minutes in the morning on reference book input, 60 minutes in the afternoon on past exam practice, and 60 minutes in the evening on review and preparation for the next day.

Additional Tips for a Short-Term Pass

Book Your Exam Date First

By booking your exam date first, you can maintain motivation through the deadline effect. The CBT format allows you to take the exam at any time. For details, check CBT Exam Day Flow.

Abandon Perfectionism

The passing line is 60%, so there's no need to aim for perfection. Actively skip questions you don't understand.

Avoid Smartphone Addiction

Past exam apps are convenient, but social media is a study distraction. We recommend turning on only app notifications and turning off social media notifications.

If the One-Month Plan Doesn't Suit You

If you can't spare 2–3 hours on weekdays, the Working Professional Roadmap to Pass in 30 Minutes a Day (3-month version) is recommended. Also, if you only have two weeks, refer to the Quick Study Plan to Pass in Two Weeks.

Summary

This plan structures four weeks into input, field-based practice, weakness reinforcement, and mock exams. Focus your study on past exam questions, and one pass through the reference book is sufficient. Use this site's Past Exam List and Mock Exam to engage in practical practice.
